Warming up for Freshers' Fayre at the University

June 20, 2013

As another academic year comes to an end we're already looking towards the next.  We are preparing for Freshers' Fayre on 4th October 2013 where new students to the University of Surrey can browse the clubs and societies on offer.  This gives freshers the opportunity to meet the enthusiastic students who run the clubs, ask some questions to find out more about activities you've never tried before and sign up to get stuck in!

This means that if you gain a place at Surrey this year, come and find us in the marquee at Freshers' Fayre and give Jitsu a go - you won't know you love it until you try it!

Speaking of trying Jitsu, the day after Freshers' Fayre this year we have Active Freshers' Fayre at Surrey Sports Park (SSP) where we would love to welcome you to a free try-it-out session in the Studios!  Just bring along some loose clothing (t-shirt and jogging bottoms are ideal) and a friend if you've made one already and have a go and a giggle in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere whilst learning the building blocks to a fun and applicable martial art.  Check out our club testimonials here!

We wish all students preparing for university the very best in your exams if you are taking any; stay safe this summer and I hope to see you at Surrey soon.
